Leaf Chute Bagger – You’ve Gotta have one of these!
A product review for a tool that helps with the chore of bagging leaves in the fall. A Leaf Bag Chute holds up tippy bags and makes it easy to fill them up with leaves and other gardening debris.
A transcript, for those of you that don’t want to watch the video:
Does this look like your yard? Do you have ALL of these leaves to pick up? I’ve got a helpful idea for you! This is a review of the Leaf & Lawn Chute. This is a great tool in the fall when you’re trying to bag your leaves. So it comes flat like this: it’s made out of a corrugated plastic so it’s as light as corrugated cardboard but because it’s plastic, it’ll hold up to all of the wet leaves and debris that you get when you’re trying to do yard cleanup. It is designed to fit in any standard Leaf bag. This one’s from Lowe’s but I’ve found that all of these bags tend to be the same size.
One of the ways that you can get it in there is to fold it up, put it in your bag, open up the flaps and then from the front you just bend one side and then the other side and it turns into a chute. It holds the bag upright while you’re trying to fill it.

Here’s the task: see all those leaves? This is going to be bag number 34 for me this season. But let’s see this chute in action! Let me pick up my leaves and in they go! Even in a very empty bag they go in easily.
Another way that you can use this is that you can just lay the chute down on the ground and rake directly into the bag. I don’t like this method as well but everybody has their own methods. If you had a smaller rake head I think this would work even better.
You can see even with very wet leaves it holds up well and gets everything down in the bag so when you get your bag all full all you need to do is pull the chute out and fill up the next bag. Whether badding fall leaves or just doing routine garden cleanup, this leaf bag chute tool has saved me so much aggravation! You should try one too!!
This set will get you started on easier leaf bagging and other lawn and garden cleanup tasks. Get the Leaf Chute plus five (5) paper bags.
If your yard looks like the one at the beginning of the video, you may need more than five bags, so here is a package of thirty (30) of the 30 gallon sized bags.
This rake has a smaller head that is 8 inches wide. As I mentioned in the video, a smaller rake with a smaller head would make it easier to rake straight into the Leaf Chute when it is laying on the ground, next to the leaves. This rake is nice because you can adjust the length of the handle and it is a good tool to use when you are in tight places, like trying to rake under low handing shrubs.
When I am out in my yard using my leaf bag chute, I have had people stop and ask me about it. I’ve even had people in cars pull over and roll down their windows. Even from a distance, people can easily see what a great tool it is and they want one for their own lawn and garden cleanup tasks!
